Traffic Alert reports are traffic events with a significant impact to current traffic flow and a CHART Operator has marked the specific event to be an Alert. General Text based Traveler Advisories during severe weather or emergency situations will be displayed as Traffic Alerts as well. This special event is used to alert motorists of a severe situation.
